PA House Environmental Resources and Energy (ERE) Committee Majority Chairman Daryl Metcalfe (R-Butler) will convene an informational meeting to determine if PJM Interconnection’s, America’s largest power grid operator, proposed Minimum Offer Price Rule (MOPR) would adequately maintain competitive and reliable energy markets.
The meeting will feature presentations from Dr. Joseph Bowring, president, Monitoring Analytics and independent market monitor for PJM; Gladys Brown Dutrieuille, chairman, Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission; Asim Haque, vice president, state and member services, PJM Interconnection; Kevin Sunday, director of government affairs, Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry; and Glen Thomas, president, PJM Power Providers Group (P3 Group).
