Transparent Times - Stimulus Snippets
Since February 2009, when the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) was enacted, Pennsylvania has received most of its $26.8 billion total stimulus dollars.  In all, Pennsylvania will receive $2.2 billion in direct federal grants to a variety of entities, including $11.1 billion in tax benefits for individuals and businesses and a whopping $13.5 billion for state agencies to spend.  As of June 30, 2010, the Commonwealth has committed $10.081 billion of the AARA funds that state agencies will spend.
