State Government Committee To Consider English as the Official Language Legislation
WHAT: Pennsylvania House State Government Committee Majority Chairman, Representative Daryl Metcalfe (R-Butler), will convene a public hearing focusing on making English the official language of the Commonwealth, with emphasis on the following legislation (House Bills 361 and 888).

WHO: Prime sponsors who will address the committee on their legislation include: Rep. Scott Perry (R-York/Cumberland) and Rep. RoseMarie Swanger (R-Lebanon).

Testifiers will include: Suzanne Bibby, ProEnglish; Don Soifer, Lexington Institute; Tim Schultz, U.S. English; and several others.
