House State Government/Finance Committees Combine to Explore Pension Reforms
WHAT: House State Government Committee Majority Chairman Representative Daryl Metcalfe (R-Butler) and House Finance Committee Majority Chairman Representative Kerry Benninghoff (R-Centre/Mifflin) will convene a joint public hearing focusing on several different proposals to address Pennsylvania’s multi-billion dollar public pension funding crisis (House Bills 418, 551, 552, 1676, 1677 2200, 2453, 2454 and 2469).
WHO: Testifiers will include: Andrew Biggs, Ph.D., American Enterprise Institute; Richard Dreyfuss, Commonwealth Foundation; Chief Deputy Attorney General Frank Fina; and several others.
