Metcalfe Announces District Office Consolidation: Middlesex Township Office to Close on Nov. 30
CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP — Effective November 30, State Representative Daryl Metcalfe (R-Butler) will close his Middlesex Township district office.

This cost-saving measure is part of Representative Metcalfe’s ongoing efforts to reduce spending, while maintaining the highest level of constituent service.

“Leading by example, with the objective of reducing costs and creating efficiencies, I will close my Middlesex Township district office on the final day of the 2011-12 legislative session,” said Representative Metcalfe. “Closing this office will enable me to eliminate one full-time staff position and will also significantly reduce my office and communications expenses.”

Also effective November 30, the phone number for the Middlesex Township district office will no longer be in service.

“The state legislative expense accounts that I have had direct control over the past 14 years are the same annual appropriation as when I was first elected,” said Representative Metcalfe. “Operating my offices on a zero-growth budget for 14 years has been another way to lead by example in my work to reduce the cost of government and protect taxpayers.”

District 12 residents with any state-related issues or concerns should contact Representative Metcalfe’s Cranberry Township district office at (724) 772-3110. Visit or for the latest legislative updates.
