House State Government Committee to Hold Hearing on English Official Language Legislation
WHAT: Pennsylvania House State Government Committee Chairman Daryl Metcalfe (R-Butler) will convene a public hearing focusing on legislation to establish English as the official language of Pennsylvania (House Bill 1506).

WHO: Testifiers will include Robert Vandervoort, ProEnglish; Jan Ting, Temple University; Andy Hoover, ACLU of Pennsylvania; and Matthew Shuman, U.S. English Inc. In addition, Rep. Ryan Warner (R-Fayette/Westmoreland), the sponsor of House Bill 1506, will also address the committee regarding his legislation.
