Life begins at conception and it is our Constitutional duty to protect the rights of the born and unborn alike. Life is sacred and we must protect those who cannot protect themselves.

I oppose funding family planning agencies, like Planned Parenthood, that use taxpayer money to promote abortions.

I am a co-sponsor of the “Women’s Right-to-Know Act”, which would provide for ultrasound test requirements and expand on the informed consent condition currently in Pennsylvania’s Abortion Control Act.

During the past legislative sessions, I have also introduced and supported amendments to the state budget to eliminate the controversial “Expanded Medical Services for Women” line item, earmarked for Planned Parenthood.

I have also called upon Governor Corbett to end the taxpayer funding of Planned Parenthood. A copy of my letter can be viewed here.
