Representative Metcalfe held a press conference to reintroduce the National Security Begins at Home legislative package to end the illegal alien invasion in Pennsylvania. Representative Metcalfe and fellow state legislators held a press conference in Harrisburg to announce the formation of a nationwide task force that will develop model state legislation to eliminate the misapplication of the 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, which is currently being utilized to secure citizenship for the children of illegal aliens and their families.

Rather than taking a state-recognized holiday on Columbus Day, Representative Metcalfe traveled to the West Virginia state Capitol to voice his support for the efforts of West Virginia State Legislators for Legal Immigration members to advance reform legislation designed to address America's ongoing illegal alien invasion at the state government level.  For more information, visit

Representative Metcalfe traveled to Washington, D.C., to officially call on Congress to move the ongoing immigration reform debate above and beyond the overwhelmingly-rejected "national in-security blanket" of amnesty for illegal aliens. He was joined by Dan Stein (President of the Federation for American Immigration Reform), Russell Pearce of Arizona (author of Senate Bill 1070) and other patriots fighting to end the illegal alien invasion. Representative Metcalfe visits with one of America's most outspoken English-only advocates and Gino's Cheese Steaks owner Joey Vento during the State Legislators for Legal Immigration rally at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia.

Notable Quotable:   "For those of you who think there are no longer any patriots among American office holders, I offer Daryl Metcalfe, a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, as Exhibit 1.He is a modern-day Paul Revere and just may be the last great hope for those of us who want our borders secured and our immigration laws enforced.Instead of a borrowed horse, Metcalfe and his small but dedicated staff ride the phone lines and the Internet into the night in the effort to warn state representatives in all 50 states of the impending danger and urge them to join the effort to protect the American people against this foreign invasion that is undermining our national security and draining our resources."
