Visiting the Capitol
Pennsylvania State Capitol
Guided tours of Pennsylvania's Capitol are offered every half hour Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Weekends and most holiday tours are offered at 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM. The Capitol is closed for tours New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.  

The Capitol is located on Third Street, between Walnut and North Streets, in Harrisburg.

open invitation to explore Pennsylvania government at work by visiting the Welcome Center at the Capitol. Learn about Pennsylvania government -- and have fun in the process -- by reading, listening, touching and interacting with 18 colorful, informative exhibits. The Welcome Center is located in the East Wing of the Capitol, and is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

The Capitol and Welcome Center are accessible for individuals with special needs.
